Home visits are for serious illnesses and for people who are housebound because of illness or disability.
If you are able to get to the surgery please try and do so, but if a visit is necessary, please telephone the surgery before 10:30 am on 01937 585669, as this helps the doctors plan their rounds. Please give the receptionist a brief description of the problem, the doctor will then have some idea of the urgency of the call.
A doctor or nurse may phone you back, as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital visit.
Please bear in mind that several patients can be seen in the practice in the time it takes to make a house call. There are also better facilities for examining a patient at the Surgery.
